Why is the last price different in Quotes and Portfolio?
In iStock 1.2.5 the last price in the quotes view always reflects the last traded price whereas the last price in the portfolio shows the latest market value of the shares. More precisely it shows the value the shares can be sold for - the current bid price. If this is not available the last traded price will be used if available otherwise the previous closing price will be used.
iStock 1.3 (and newer) includes a preference setting that allows you to specify if the bid, last traded, or previous closing price should be used to calculate the total value.
