Geocoins on eBay
April 27th, 2006A couple of months ago I saw a mention of a new photo sharing application called FilmLoop on Guy Kawasaki’s blog. At first I didn’t see anything special about this application. Why would people want to have scrolling filmstrips on their desktops?
But things are changing with the new version that has just been released. You can now create filmloops for embedding into web pages. And if that wasn’t enough they have also integrated with eBay so you can have auction searches performed in the background. So when new auction items become available they are automatically added to the loop.
I just had to try this in action, so I have created a filmloop with the available Geocoin auctions. So if you are looking for that special collectors item - who knows it might be up for auction right now.
If you want to create your own filmloops there is a detailed description here. There is also a link where you can download the latest version of FilmLoop.
